Brandy Old Fashioned Dessert Pizza

This dessert pizza has been a long time coming! For years folks have suggested this, and I've played around with the idea here and there. This past Sunday I finally nailed it. So after nearly 7 years, the Brandy Old Fashioned Dessert Pizza is here.
A sweetened whipped cream cheese base starts us off - laced with a heap of fresh orange zest and a big splash of Angostura Bitters. We give some tart Door County cherries a bath in brandy, a toss in some sugar, then onto the sweet orange cream cheese with a big swirl of a brown butter brandy sauce. Finished with a buttery streusel. I was so proud when everyone who sampled this dessert pizza knew what it was immediately without being told. It's all the parts of the Fox Valley's favorite drink, deconstructed and recombobulated as a fantastic treat. I already know you're going to love it.
NOTE: This dessert pizza contains actual brandy. Not enough for a buzz, but do be aware when you're serving to friends and family.
